Locating, purchasing and importing a vehicle on your behalf
|
We intentionally keep a low stock of imported vehicles. You can be sure of the quality of all cars that we have on sale but we appreciate that you might not see exactly what you want. Low stock levels mean lower overheads which means that we save money. That means of course that our customers get a better deal. If we don't have the car that you are looking for then we can help. Tell us exactly what you want and we will promise to find a suitable vehicle for you within 4 working days. Tell us the model that you are looking for, year of first registration, size of engine, preferred trim etc, mileage, and even the colour and we do our best to find it. If you are looking for something very out of the ordinary then it may take a little longer but we will do our best. For a £500 deposit we will locate the car that you are looking for. We will usually give you a choice of more than one car where possible. We will provide you with digital images of the car and an independent assessor's rating of the condition of the car. If you are still interested then we give you a fixed price for the purchase and shipping of the car to the UK, including internal transportation costs, agency and auction fees, and transport to 4x4foru. The only additional costs incurred will be for the first registration with DVLA (currently £38) and for vehicle excise duty. From purchasing the vehicle in Japan it will take approximately seven to eight weeks for your vehicle to arrive in the UK. It will then take us seven to ten days for us to collect the vehicle from the port of arrival, carry out a mechanical inspection and have it MOT'd. Once this has been done we will have the car professionally valeted inside and out prior to collection. Provided that you are happy with your prospective purchase you pay us the remainder and off you go. If for any reason you are not happy we will refund your deposit immediately with no penalty. You are then free to choose another car from our stock or buy elsewhere. |
